Bread, Girlfriend?!

So I made this braided bread the other day for some ladies in my ward. I was so proud f how good it looked I just had to post it. The best thing is that it is a white bread in an hour recipe... mixed, risen, and baked! I am trying to do better about reaching out to those in need, I am trying to loose myself in service so I can forget all my worries and problems. I know that is talked about so much in the church so I am really trying hard to do that. There are sooo many women in this ward that could use a little extra love. I was feeling the same way and just decided it is more important to try to help the other ladies first then I am sure I will feel it back and hopefully be blessed.
Also there is a picture of Blake w/ a little girl named Abbey from his kindergarten class. This has been a really interestin year. About 3 weeks ago I helped in Blakes class and was watching these kids play and about 6-8 kids were all huddled around Blake and Abbey and they were saying aren't you going to "chase and capture" her. But his idea of "capturing" her was a gentle hug. It reminded me of like 5th grade when a group of kids would run up to and ask are you going to hold johnny's hand. It was kind of freaking me out.
Then about a week after that I drove to get Blake from school and I was parked right even w/ the playground and on top was Blake and Abbey w/ about 8 kids circled around them saying "Blake are you going to kiss Abbey" I was shocked and then Blake puckered up and was going in and then I yelled out my window "BLAKE WE DO NOT KISS AT SCHOOL" so they all scattered. Then about 5 minutes later they all returned w/ Blake puckered up again so I yelled again "WE DO NOT KISS KIDS AT SCHOOL" then the teacher called them in. So when he got in the car I had to have a discussion about kissing. I told him that we don't kiss anyone other than family until we are 16. If someone asks you to kiss them or asks you to kiss someone else then you tell them no not until I am 16! He quietly said "OK". Then that night Ryan had the talk w/ him again and talked about respecting women. It is so scary that we are aready dealing w/ this. He is just barely graduating kindergarten. At least we only have to worry about our boys and not hundreds of them by having a girl :)

  1. That bread looks way good. I can't remember who said this but I know they were Greek. "be kind because everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle" and you guys are fighting a hugh battle at the moment and our prayers are with you. Now on to how cute Blake is, That is so dang funny. Thanks for the laugh and don't worry next year it wont be cool to play with girls and kissing them will be a big old nasty no no. Well that'll last until around 4 or 5 grade.
