Mothers Day

Diane Flying

Aunt Katie Flying

Ryan Flying

Chris Flying

Happy Mom's day to all those awesome women out there. We had a fun filled weekend, and pretty relaxing for me (not ryan). On Saturday the Elmer's came over for a dinner, and the kids all had fun playing together. The adults also had some fun on the trampoline while the kiddos watched. Needless to say all 18 of us had a good time.

On Sunday, ryan and the boys made french toast for breakfast and then for dinner I made homemade butternut squash ravioli with a bacon, butternut squash sauce over top. It sounds really wierd but it was soooo good. I even made some plain spaghetti sauce in case the fancy sauce was gross, but it was so good i preffered it way more than the spaghetti sauce. My parents came over for dinner, and we went for a nice walk and then the boys played barber shop on grandpa. That was a big deal since he doesn't let anyone near his hair! It was cute to watch. Oh and when Blake went to go get the brush he knocked the cabinet from the bathroom over, broke the top cover of the toilet and everything in the cabinet went over board. Yay! Luckily he only ended up with a little scratch on his finger.

Well, with all that here are some pics. I had a great mothers day! Thanks Boys!

*Blake took all the pics of me making the ravioli's....not bad only one finger in the pics. I think we have a future photographer on our hands.

Dairy oh how i love you!

So i am so excited, i have been off dairy since a little while after Chase was born. I have tried introducing it here and there and it just didn't work. But finally i tried again the last week and he seems to finally be ok with it. Seth was the same way, but with him i stopped nursing at 6 months. Then when he hit 1 we put him on whole milk and he's been fine ever since. I decided to push forward with Chase since he is our last i figured i could suffer through a little pain of not eating dairy for a few months. And the time has come he is finally ok with me eating dairy...YAY!!!! So my long list of dairy filled foods is finally getting checked off. I started with Nachos one of my faves, and tried ice cream. This weekend i am going to make homemade cheese filled ravioli! My deal with ryan for mothers day is i get to pick any meal i want to make for dinner and he has to clean my kitchen afterwards. So i always pick a new really intense recipe that he has a ton of dishes to do :) I am so excited!

Roseville Tuesday Night

Last night Ryan and I went to the First Roseville Tuesday Night Market. We set up our Brite Delights booth and did our best to sell, sell, sell. We added some new warmers, bath balls and kids candle sand art. The sand art did the best because it was very eye catching and the kids would just pester their parents until they could do it. They were able to make their own candle, it was a fun addition. We are going to be doing the next 5 roseville markets and then folsom has thursday night markets that start in 4 weeks and we will do all 7 of the folsom ones. It is a very long evening we left our house at 3:15 and got home at 9:45. We are trying to tell ourselves it is good to get our name out there.....it's exhausting! We would much rather people just order our stuff off our website. But they need to know who we are first.
Anyways, here's a pic of our booth, and our popular sand candle.

Weekend Fun!

Well we had a fun weekend. The weather was perfect high 70's low 80's...just beautiful! I took Chase and Max (the neighbor boy, 10 days younger than chase) on a wagon walk for the first time. They both did great just relaxed while Blake and Seth ran around crazy and me and Nikki (my neighbor) got in some much needed chatting :).
Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Bangerter's and the older boys swam with grandpa! Well between their pool and spa (when they got too cold). The boys helped make dessert with grandma and as always grandpa had to set up the train tracks and race car track.
Today as we were getting ready for church we put the boys in the shower and were trying to rush them so they didn't get to play like they normally do. You could tell it was bugging Blake and he told ryan and he was trying to wash him "DAD, just turn around and walk away!" I had to hold in my laughs so hard. It is so funny to hear them talk like big kids but they really aren't that big so it is scary too. Blake really is starting to try and talk and act more like a big kid. He is starting to out smart us too. Like if he loses something earlier in the day like dessert, and then we end up giving it to him by the evening he'll say things like "see i told you i would get dessert" and with a big attitude too. It's scary how quick they grow up.
Then this evening after he was supposed to be asleep for about 30 min. i went to put chase to bed and blake was scratching marks on our banister. It is totally ruined. It is one whole section by his bedroom...we are like JUST GO TO SLEEP! It drives us nuts...why don't they just stay in bed when we put them there.
Anyways, even after all that we had a good weekend.

Mama's Boy

Oh my goodness....is chase a mama's boy! I thought he was attached to me because of tax season and he had no one else to go to, but no. If Ryan is holding him and i walk past him or into the room he starts freaking out until i hold him. Ryan watched him and Seth the other day while i helped in Blake's class, and when i came home he instantly started crying. Ryan said " he was great the whole time...so quiet" then i walk in the door and the tears start flowing.

Although i have to say with him being the last and the others being a little older it really does melt my heart. He loves it when i pick him up and give him is froggie blankie and pacifier he just puts his head down on my shoulder and cuddles. I love it! He is growing so fast i just want to cherish every moment with him before he turns into a big, stinky, energetic boy. Yes energetic that's how i am describing my other boys :)

Well here are some pics of this cute mama's boy. He is now also crawling up off his tummy full time now, and can walk around the couch and toys pretty good. He also now enjoys chunk food, baby food is just frustrating him.

Anyways, it has been lots of fun having him and i can't believe he is almost 8 months...on the 8th. CRAZY! It feels like i just had him a month ago.

Seth's 4th Birthday

So i can't believe it Seth turned 4! Time just is flies when your having fun. I love Seth so much he is such a cute kid....most of the time :). He really has bloomed this year and is becoming his own person. I think it is interesting to see the difference in my boys. Seth is a very athletic kid, this year he learned to ride his bike w/ no training wheels. He loves to play soccer, golf, baseball, basketball, play with any remote control vehicle and jump around on the trampoline. He is surprisingly good at all things he does. He is also great at puzzles and has even learned to write his name this year. We had a fun birthday week with him we went mini golfing and to dinner at leatherby's which he insisted on having the huge banana split sundae for his ice cream. We always do mini golf and dinner w/ daddy since his birthday is April 12th Ryan can't spend his b-day w/ him so we do that the last Saturday of tax season. Then we had his party at Tricks gymnastics...we all had a blast. (i loved it since i didn't have to do anything) After that he was pooped and passed out in the chair w/ Ryan the day after his party.

Spa Day!

So we took a well needed family day last sunday. The kids have missed ryan so much w/ him being gone everyday except sundays. so we just tried to take some time together. We took Chase into the spa for the first time and he was in Heaven!!! He was splashing all around and just cracking up. Blake and Seth just thought it was awesome to have him in there. We here are a bunch of pics because it was seriously soooo cute.

6 MONTHS!!!

Well i can't believe it my little man is 6 months old. (actually a week ago) He is growing so fast it makes me so sad. It is hard watching the last one grow up so fast. With Blake and even Seth we just wanted them to start doing everything so fast. And with Chase we just wish he would slow down. He is already CRAWLING! I guess he didn't get the memo that he just isn't supposed to grow up. Well other than that life is still the same crazienest as always. We have almost survived tax season...only 4 weeks to go! YAY!!!!! This years tax season has gone faster than ever before, i guess because i am crazy busy with these 3 cute boys. I am so ready for it to be over so i can get a nap though, and maybe clean my house from time to time. :)

Well here are some pics of Chase in honor of his 6 month mile stone. We love him so much he is always smiling and just going with the flow (like he has a choice being #3). And i think his favorite past time is going for walks to pick up blake from kindgerarten. He has always loved to go for a ride. Even in the hospital i would walk the halls with him in the little craddle carts and he just loved it. He also loves to suck on frozen carrots and apple slices. And don't try to take them from him before he is done or you will hear about it. We are so glad he is a part of our family.

It's been a while

Chase is sporting his first mohawk! This will probably be one of few since his hair is growing in just like Seth's did. We are awaiting his long locks.

I love this picture of my 3 boys all squished toghether. This is how they are all day smothering Chase.

Chase is enjoying his first bowl of rice cereal.
And our little snow bunny Chase. Too bad we don't live in the snow.
So it has been a while since a post. When i started I was going to do my posts on Tuesday while Ryan was gone playing basketball. Then...I started watching the Bachelor with my neighbor and well, i haven't added to the Blog since then. So hopefully during tax season i will be better since i will have my evenings all to my self with nothing else to do. So here are some recent pics.
